Happiness

"We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same."-Carlos Castaneda

Blessings

Last night I started thinking about the things I should be happy about. So today, I’m going to count my blessings. I’m grateful for:
- being in a good relationship
- having all my loved ones safe and healthy
- having a reasonably good job at these hard times
- my boyfriend being employed after long period of not working
Also, I was so happy a few days ago when I found out that my friend was pregnant. These are very good news because she couldn’t get pregnant for a long time and finally she just gave up. She and her husband adopted a girl (after years of struggle with bureaucracy) and were happy with their lives. Her being pregnant came as a big surprise. She is over forty and has diabetes so I really hope everything turns out well.
Good luck Lizzie!

Angels

Do you believe in angels? Do you believe that there is the one called the guardian angel that takes care of us and watches us through our lives? I do (as you can se form the title of my blog) and I've been always curious about them. I often think about my guardian angel and wonder what is he doing right now or is he bored looking at me while I work. Maybe this is a childish way of thinking and imagining things, but I really think that there is someone watching over us. I often had a moment when I felt someone whispering to me what to do. Through years I learned to listen that voice but now and then I ignore it and than something bad or not so good happens. Some people call it a premonition but I think there is some greater force at work here :)

All of the things said before were the reason why I bought this book called "An Angel for Emily" by
Jude Deveraux.
It's a very nice story about this girl Emily who is local librarian in a very small town and one night while driving to a hotel, and feeling very angry about her boyfriend, she has car accidence. I turns out that she has run over her guardian angel - Michael.
What happens next you will have to find out for yourself.
I just want to give a little advice - if you think that the story is too slow, please keep reading because (and this I promise) second half of the book is really great.

Have a nice reading and day full of white light!

No, I'm not dead!

I haven't blogged for some time now. I just didn't feel like it. I was feeling ill for couple of days. It' seems that this is something that happens to me a lot this winter. Also, I was on a business trip for couple of days and decided not to use PC/Internet while on it. I went to se a move I've been planning to see for some time but didn't have the time. It’s the Twilight and I must say I feel disappointed. Everything looked so unreal and fake! The book is great, btw. I like all books in this series but the move was urgh... I think that me watching the watch every 10 minutes says everything about the move.

Anyway the new weekend is ahead of us so I wish you all to have a great time.

Snow blizzard!

I can't believe it! We are having a snow blizzard outside. Only this morning it was sunny and beautiful day and now we have about 5 cm of snow. I don't want to think about the next morning and going to work because I'll have to shovel the snow from my entrance and that means that I'll have to get up half an hour earlier. I really wish for this winter to end. I had enough of it already. Hope you are worm where ever you are :)

Have a good night/day!
