Twilight series

I have high expectations about the second movie. I didn't like the first move very much. Maybe it’s because I had high expectations then. Also, I am a huge fan of Twilight series (books), so maybe nothing can live up to my expectations. But to contradict myself, I like Harry Potter both books and movies. I don't know what bothers me the most: actors or the way the movie was directed. Now we have a new director, so will see if the first one was the problem or something else.
Did you like the Twilight move? Please say that I'm not the only one who feels disappointed :)

Contest

It's a lovely spring day in my corner of the world. Although it's very hot, almost as at summer time.

I had a great weekend. On Saturday, after morning coffie at my favourite cafe, I went to check out an XC track with my boyfriend (professional cyclist) and ended up going on a 5,5 km track up and down the hill (and when I say up I mean really really high) through woods on foot. On Sunday morning I overslept Mass (due to the track exhaustion, no doubt) time so I did some cleaning. In the afternoon I stayed at home playing with my two nieces. Good weekend, indeed.

A cynic?

Are you a cynical person? I've started to think I'm. I am always surprised by goodness in the people. Like just recently I won a book on the internet contest and the author not just sent me a book (that was a stated prize) but also bookmarks, calendar, mouse pad... I was so surprised. I always expect the worst from people. I wasn't like this before, but after many unpleasant surprises and betrayals from close persons, I just don't expect anything. Maybe this is a safeguard. I was always considered strong and trustworthy. I never panic and always trying to be honest. But today I came to realisation that I'm starting to become a cynic. I don't want to be that grumpy old lady, so I have firmly decided that from now on I'll be a happy person full of trust in people (humph...). So, what about you?

Spring!

It is finally here! Yoo-hoo! My whole garden is full of flowers: tulips, daffodils, forget-me-nots and my all time favourite two syringes trees!

One white and the other blue. They are beautiful and they smell so divine, ummmm! I also bought annual plants for my balcony baskets. Do you decorate your windows or balconies with plants? I live in a house now, so I only decorate my balconies but while I was living in an apartment my windows and balconies were full of flowers. Now I have a beautiful flower garden.
You just have to love spring, don't you?
