No, I'm not dead!

I haven't blogged for some time now. I just didn't feel like it. I was feeling ill for couple of days. It' seems that this is something that happens to me a lot this winter. Also, I was on a business trip for couple of days and decided not to use PC/Internet while on it. I went to se a move I've been planning to see for some time but didn't have the time. It’s the Twilight and I must say I feel disappointed. Everything looked so unreal and fake! The book is great, btw. I like all books in this series but the move was urgh... I think that me watching the watch every 10 minutes says everything about the move.

Anyway the new weekend is ahead of us so I wish you all to have a great time.

Snow blizzard!

I can't believe it! We are having a snow blizzard outside. Only this morning it was sunny and beautiful day and now we have about 5 cm of snow. I don't want to think about the next morning and going to work because I'll have to shovel the snow from my entrance and that means that I'll have to get up half an hour earlier. I really wish for this winter to end. I had enough of it already. Hope you are worm where ever you are :)

Have a good night/day!

Tiffany lamps exhibit

I'm going to Tiffany Lamps exhibit tonight and I'm very excited about it. I've been a fan for some time, and now I have the chance to see the whole exhibit at one place. On the left is a sample work.

A warning!

I've read this on R. Mead's blog:
I see there's a new meme bouncing around called 'Names' that asks you to string together funny names using pieces of information about you: your parents' middle names, your grandparents' names, pets' names, street you grew up on, etc. Just an FYI - those are the most common pieces of information used on websites to recover your password and verify account security. You've probably set those questions and answers up before when you create an email account, bank account, whatever, just in case you forget your password. Check around. Some of the most used security questions out there on the web are: "What's your father's middle name? What was your mother's father's name? What was the name of your first pet? What street did you grow up on?" This meme puts all that information right up on Facebook (or anywhere else on the web). So, just be careful about posting personal stuff, even if it seems harmless. You could unknowingly be giving someone access to an email or website account.

So, be extra careful please!

Shopping report

Ah, I'm feeling sick today. It's a flue that won't go away for 2 weeks now. It’s so exhausting. Anyway I'm so happy about my shopping trip. I bought a beautiful white wooden lamp for my bedroom - so I can read late into the night without damaging my eyesight. I've done that already, so now I have to wear glasses but I hope to stop deterioration of my eyesight. Also I bought a lovely dresser. I've been looking for both of these two items for nearly 1,5 year and lost all hope to ever find something that suites me and at the same time it's not too expensive. And this Saturday I finally made it. I'll post pictures of both as soon as I charge batteries for my camera. Also, I bought two pairs of shoes on the sales. I can't believe how extravagant I've been. But, these two pairs were just what I've been looking for (or so I say to myself).
Resume: it's been a very successful shopping trip!
On Sunday I finished reading Glitter Baby by S.E.P. and loved it. Also my haircut looks good so all in all it's been a very good weekend (except the flu - but girl can't have everything or she can?)

Edited:

My beautiful new white lamp (my camera isn't working, so I had to use my phone but as you can see it's not so good)

Free books

Hey, check this out!

I love free books :) Harlequin is celebrating 60th anniversary and is giving away 16 free e-books.

Just click this link http://www.eharlequin.com/store.html?cid=1317

Enjoy your reading!

Hi everyone!
This is my first post on this blog and what to say? It's Friday, yesss! I'm going shopping tomorrow; my pay check is ready to be reduced to nothing :) I'm getting my hair cut today - keep your fingers crossed because I never know how it will turn out because it all depends on my hairdresser’s current mood. I have to go on foot so the good thing is it's not snowing any more.
What I really look forward to is Sunday with a good book. I'm currently trying to read Susan Elizabeth Phillip's Glitter Baby but work has been crazy the past few days so I didn't have time to sit & read it properly.
Well that's all. Hope you have a great weekend!
