Just a quick announcement: On 11/29 which is the first Sunday of Advent I'll start my first Winter contest. Please join me - there is one surprise for each of three Advent Sundays and the winner will be announced on the forth Sunday - 12/20! This will be in honour of all existing winter holidays, so please join me whatever holiday you might celebrate!
Prepare yourself; the rules will be strict and hard!!!

ReplyDeleteAdvent has always been one of my favorite times of year. I've always preferred Easter over Christmas, but I love Advent.
ReplyDeleteOooh, and I like the Julie James reminder. She was a new-to-me author this summer and I really enjoyed her work. So much so I forced one of her books on my friend to read because I knew she'd love it.
Ohhh, I just love Advent! In my congregation we have a tradition of early Masses during the Advent. They start at 6.30 in the morning. My mother and I go every day; it's such a special experience. You feel closer to the God and prepared for the day.
